Straight From The Oven - Catalan Style!! Come along with Fernando to Barcelona and up into the hills of Catalunya to visit small medieval towns and prepare typical Catalan food. These are very autumnal dishes made from seasonal ingredients: baked fish on a bed of tomatoes and potatoes and panallets for dessertl!! Panallets are about as typical Catalan as you can get. A pastry made from ground almonds and yams rolled in pine-nuts with just a hint of sugar, they're found throughout Catalunya during the Fall season. We also tour a popular Barcelona bakery and a ghost town in Lleida - where we visit an oven used hundreds of years ago. !Bon profit!
